In my previous article, I described how Network Marketing , also known as Multi-Level Marketing, is just another channel, like TV advertising, that companies use to promote their products and services. In this article I'll show you how network marketing works.
Whether you know it or not, network marketing has been around for quite some time. In fact, most of us are involved, either officially or unofficially in network marketing. Every time that you recommend a movie or a restaurant to one of your friends or family, you are informally participating in network marketing. Basically network marketing occurs when you introduce those in your “Network of Friends and Family” to a product or service, either through a recommendation or by even giving a gift. The only difference between those of us who have taken on network marketing as a career is that we actually get paid for sharing products and services with our “network”.
Today, There are millions of people around the world building home based network marketing business. It is a business in which common people can invest a small sum of money and may rise to staggering levels of financial reward and personal freedom.
Each day millions of people report to work, where their employers leverage the time and skill of their employees to create fortunes for the company and those in the higher echelons of leadership. For instance the average pay of a CEO is about 13.8 million dollars per year while the average worker is compensated about $70, 0000.
Network Marketing enables the average person to build his own organization where he/she works everyday, not to build the wealth and futures of others, but instead to build their own wealth and futures instead. We assist others in building their own businesses instead of building the businesses of others.
In Network Marketing, the initial start up costs are anywhere from just a few dollars to several hundred dollars, but from that small investment, Network Marketers have the potential to build 7 figure businesses if they so chose.
One of the important things to remember is that Network Marketing is a real business, and that network marketing success or failure is dependent upon your daily activity. The primary business of network marketing is to sell product and services and the secondary function is to build a team which will allow you to leverage the time and skills of others to sell even more products and services. In network marketing you not only receive commission on your own personal sales productivity, but you also receive commision on the productivity of your team members – those that you have brought into the business. In addition to this, many company provide bonuses to those who are building teams of distributors and because of this the potential for building a residual income is great.
