Activity 1 – You Must Build Your Audience.

You have to view your business in much the same way a theatre views its paying customers. Without an audience you don't have anyone to share your products, service or opportunity with. No Audience = No Leads. No Leads = No Sales and No Sales = No Business! So to grow a business with social media , you must must consistently take action to build your audience. If you market primarily on facebook then you should:

  1. Add 10-20 Friends each day.
  2. Use Facebook Like Campaigns to Build an Audience for your Fan page.
  3. Use Facebook ads to get leads

If Twitter is your platform of choice then you should at the very least follow 200-1000 people from your target audience each day. Build your email list by buying solo ads or using Facebook ads.

Activity 2 -You Must Consistently Engage Your Audience.

So once you have built your audience you need to engage with them daily. You do this by creating content …

  1. Creating bl
    og posts,
  2. Short Videos
  3. Inspirational image posts
  4. Sharing snippets of your life with your audience to help them learn more about you as a person.

Also you must like their posts, comment upon their posts and comment and like any comments that they leave on your posts. Always lead with value. If you are in the credit repair business, then offer credit maintenance/building tips. If you are in health and wellness, then offer health/dieting tips. Remember, Social media is SOCIAL. You should use it to build relationships first. Help your audience solve their problems and they will become stark raving fans.

Activity 3 – You Must Consistently Sell to You Audience.

This is the final and obviously most important part if your business is to thrive. You sell to your audience by…

  1. Inviting them to your events, like your company presentations, video presentations.,etc.
  2. Introducing them to your products, services and business opportunity if you have one.

One mistake that I see many newbie marketers do is that they are always promoting. Their Fan Pages and Personal walls look like Bill Boards for everyproduct under the sun. This makes you and your business unattractive to potential customers and teammembers. To effectively sell to your audience you must keep your marketing messages in the correct proportion to your other content. A good ratio is 1/10. That is for every 10 pieces of content you should have only one promotional/selling message. By consistently completing these 3 simple activities, you will find that you have more people to talk to, more people who want to listen to you because you are helping them solve their problems, andultimately you will build your brand, your team and grow a business with social media.
